Thanks so much for fixing my X1. It had been stumbling along for months, taking 10 minutes to warm up and producing sub par coffee. What a joy to open up the packaging (and boy was there a lot of packaging!) switch it on and the boiler be ready in under 2 minutes. The espresso tasted a million times better and the crema, oh, I'd forgotten what good crema looked like. Why did I wait so soon before sending it in to be repaired! Amazingly quick turnaround time too. Thanks again.

You probably can't imagine how pathetic we Francis Francis machine owners are when we don't have our home-made espressos. We wander around aimlessly, we moan, we whine... Your repair guy isn't just fixing the machines, he's bringing us back to life and human society. So... praise is not enough, and he's got a lot of that already anyway. Instead: give the guy a raise. My Francis Francis X5 needed some rehab, When I called for options, Wes told me right away what the problem was and a very close ballpark figure to fix it. Sent the machine from East coast and had it back in 2 1/2 weeks. It is just like brand new. He even swapped out the o-ring (for filter basket) that I did not realize needed replacing.

My beloved Francis Francis coffee machine had quit working. I was in a panic and found Sapori Fine Flavors on the internet. I boxed my 'girl' up and sent her to Oregon for a much needed repair. I've had my FF X3 for a decade now, pulling two or three shots at my desk every work day of the week. Last year it gave up the ghost and Wes at Sapori brought it back to life. It recently went on the fritz again - this time overheating, sputtering and frying my coffee rather than extracting creamy shots. I sent it back to Sapori. In no time flat, they fixed my problem for the minimum fee and got it back to me by UPS. Wes cleaned up the machine and even gave me some new parts to make it look spiffier and just like new. If you've got a Francis Francis machine, esp. a 'legacy' model like mine that uses ground coffee and not pods or capsules, you don't have to look any further for the best repair service in the country. This is it.

I have an old workhorse Francis Francis, a reliable machine that needed some maintenance. Finding a reliable new machine would have been expensive and I thought investing in what I had was worth it. After 4 years of use my much loved Francis Francis expresso machine began to show signs of needing attention. The Illy website directed me to Sapori Fine Flavors which promptly sent instructions for shipping the machine to them. The price for repairs and the average time the repairs would take were clearly stated .
The machine reached Oregon safely from Connecticut. I received an e-mail when the repairs had been carried out and also explaining a feature about the machine which I had not understood. I received another e-mail when it was shipped back with a tracking number and it arrived safely on the expected date. It was promptly put into service. it works perfectly and the new heating element warms the machine up noticeably more quickly. The final cost was a little less than the price quoted and the replaced parts were included in the package.
All round excellent service. If the Francis Francis needs a service in another four or so years I will definitely know where to send it.

I have enjoyed my Francis Francis espresso machine for 12 years - until it needed some repairs (fortunately I have a back-up machine). I sent the machine to Sapori Fine Flavors at the recommendation of Illy. I found the Sapori website and staff to be very helpful. Thank you for repairing our FF X5!!! We were bereft. Now, we are whole again. I know that sounds mellowdramatic, but when it broke we quickly realized (a) how much we enjoy the quality and convenience it offers, and (b) how difficult it would be to replace, especially since similar machines are now capsule or pod-based, not our style. Also, it looks so sharp on our counter. We love the machine and appreciate the customer service and expertise your company offered us. I've had a Francis Francis X-3 within arm's reach in my office for a decade, crankinjg out a few double shots every morning. When it came time for a repair, I assumed that here in Seattle, the self-proclaimed Coffee Capital of the World, it would be a snap. But no. Either the local shops refused to work on FF machines, or told me to expect to wait weeks for service and months for parts if needed. So I limped along for a while, knowing my machine was not working properly but unwilling to throw in the towel and search for a replacement or to give up my machine for months awaiting a repair.
Then I bumped into Sapori on the internet. In a word, these guys are GREAT! This is the sort of service that makes you want to keep coming back for more and to spread the word to friends and acquaintances. Wes at Sapori diagnosed my problem, provided new parts and plenty of advice and feedback -- all done promptly and for an astoundingly fair price. My little warhorse X-3 is back in operation and I could not be more pleased with my experience with Sapori. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again.

I am extremely pleased with my experience with Sapori Fine Flavors. I sent my old Francis Francis X5 for reppair and it came back like new. The work was done efficiently, I was kept abreast of what was going on and my phone calls were answered. I thought I could only get that kind of repair service in Europe and that I had to trash my X5 when it broke down. Gosh I was wrong! When my Francis Francis espresso machine stopped steaming, I freaked; how could I start my day without my cappuccino (or two)? I didn't want to buy a new machine so I was thankful to find Sapori Fine Flavors, which repairs that brand.
A week after I shipped it, it arrived home — clean and better than ever. I got a call from Sapori first, telling me what went wrong and how much it would cost. The technician I spoke with was courteous and also alerted me that Sapori sells parts,and I promptly ordered a replacement grid.
If you love your espresso machine as much as I do, I recommend Sapori for any repairs you might need.

I recently used Sapori for repair on my Francis Francis espresso machine. The process was efficient, courteous, and honest. I was told estimated expenses up front and the repair was made within that estimate. Replaced parts were returned, and the only limit to the efficiency was the cross country shipping required as I am in Massachusetts. I am very happy to have my machine back and in fine working order thanks to Sapori's excellent service.

I purchased a Francis Francis X3 used from a private party, and in short order discovered that it wasn't working properly. I sent it in to Sapori Fine Flavors for repair. In short order they confirmed my impression that the thermostat was bad and replaced it. The person who called me to give me an update was very personable, and the return shipment was quick! They even returned the old part with the machine. I'm now happily enjoying my own espresso maker in my office. I highly recommend their service department.

Thank you so much Sapori!! My FrancisFrancis X1 was unable to be used due to a detached tube into the water reservoir. I sent my machine to Sapori as advised and within the week, I received the machine at my door again. Not only was the tube reattached, but my machine had been checked for adequate water pressure from within. I noticed that the water was draining more fully from the spout. I am certain that the machine was taken through thorough testing in order for the repair team to diagnose and repair the water function optimally, as described above.
I am thankful to Sapori as the Illy-recommended service dealer and trust their knowledgeable repairwork for quality espresso machines.

Your service was exactly as predicted in my first phone call with you. Francis Francis Espresso Machine was fixed in under a week. I received three phone calls updating me regarding the progress and cost before receiving it back with a packing job that would make the military proud. Included in the shipment was the old broken parts as well as a copy of the credit card charges.

Amazingly fast repair and return! My Francis Francis X1 came back to me in under one week, and at an affordable cost considering how much the machine originally cost me. I would recommend these guys to anyone needing their espresso machine fixed.

"I can not tell you how happy I am ! I had to go through XX before and it was a nightmare. How ever this company is everything XX could never be. I am delighted with my repair. I had my machine back in 5 days!!!!!!I I even got to talk to the person that did my repair to let me know what was wrong and how to prevent it from happening.. Oh and there's more, they returned the part they replaced. All I can say is that they are exceptional!!!! Tell all your friends that have an X5 !
