Nathan Spaccarelli Nathan Spaccarelli, President

Nathan began Sapori Fine Flavors with his wife Kathrin back in 1996. When they took over illy representation, there were just five customers in the Portland area. With contagious excitement about the product, Nathan has been the driving force behind illy’s popularity, thrilled to share his passion for exceptional coffee with Pacific Northwest coffee drinkers. His background in Portland’s dining scene and relationships with the Northwest's finest restaurateurs has helped Sapori foster successful partnerships with them as their complete solution for their coffee and tea program.

Kathrin Spaccarelli Kathrin Spaccarelli, Chief Financial Officer

In 1996, Kathrin was poised to combine her skills in international business and banking with her passion for fine coffee. Claiming she drinks most of the Sapori Fine Flavor’s profits, she continues to oversee the company’s finances and administration. Although she does not get to interact with customers regularly, Kathrin is the “behind the scenes” force in ensuring day-to-day operations at Sapori run smoothly.

Gabe Spaccarelli, Quality Specialist

With Sapori Fine Flavors since its inception, Gabe has been an integral part of the growth and vision of the company. Gabe oversees all aspects of Sapori’s service department focusing on insuring technical parameters provide quality above all else. This includes Quality Control Checks, Technical Maintenance, and Field Instruction. A recognizable face in the field, his prompt and straightforward attention to detail helps guarantee a customers’ best chance of success.

Kirsten Helgesson, Office Manager

Kirsten, the pleasant voice on the phone, has been a part of the Sapori family since 2003. She ensures that all the ordering, invoicing and shipping goes smoothly, while responding promptly to customers’ questions or concerns. Referred to by everyone as the person who holds the company together with her organization and friendly attitude, Kirsten’s finest attribute is her commitment to professional customer service.

Bill Morgan Bill Morgan, Francis Francis Technician / Delivery Driver 

The man behind our Francis Francis repair department, Bill joins us with both coffee passion and technical curiosity.  As your Francis Francis repair technician, Bill makes sure you enjoy life happ-illy.  In addition to helping with deliveries and general warehouse organization, he assists Gabe with in-house technical duties.

 Chris Migdol, Sales Manager

Chris has been a part of the Northwest food and dining scene since owning and running a successful restaurant in the mid 90's.  Chris joined the Sapori team to help market illy espresso in the Portland metro area.   He is responsible for new accounts and development, reaching out to new and existing businesses looking to offer quality and savings.   Chris brings with him a positive and energetic attitude.  Sapori is pleased to work with him again.   

 

 

 John Simmons, Eugene and Southern Oregon Sales

John just couldn't stay away!   After working for illy in New York for almost 20 years, he has recently landed in Oregon, and we are thrilled to have him on board with Sapori Fine Flavors.  He brings with him the same passion and commitment to quality that we at Sapori embrace.  John has recently taken over the Eugene market, offering quality coffee to restaurants and coffee shops in all areas Salem and south.
